In Cars

I missed out on this one when it was new, but my coworker sent me this YouTube link where new waver Gary Numan hooks up with heavy metal's Fear Factory to remake the Numan classic, Cars.

Hey, I heard that last night! It's awesome! I had heard also that Gary was pretty cool to share/work w/other artists.

Some "artists" get so territorial and psycho, it's good to see someone willing to take a risk and see where it takes them!

Awesome!

Gary Numan...that's a name I haven't heard in a while. I really got into his music for a while in my Oregon State days...mainly because one of my dorm roommates (the unforgettable Sven) was a fan of his.

That video really made my day.

I didn't miss out on the Gary Numan version, just the Fear Factory version. You have to admit that Fear Factory isn't exactly as easy to recall as Metallica or Nirvana. Besides, there is plenty of time to do homework in the 5 minutes before class starts.
