Am I on the Wrong Side of the Planet??!?

This fun, little quiz caught my eye, and since language is my life (as well as music), I had to give it a try. Anyway, the language I should learn is:

You Should Learn Swedish

Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general.
Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around!

(I just remembered...Snabby is of Norwegian descent. Oops!)

For me:

You Should Learn Japanese - You're cutting edge, and you are ready to delve into wacky Japanese culture.
From Engrish to eating contests, you're born to be a crazy gaijin. Saiko!

I did spend a year taking Japanese in college, so I guess this is accurate. Still, the only thing I even remember how to say is:

"Takaku nakatta des ne" which means "That's not very expensive, is it?"

Then again, I may have completely forgotten everything from my college days, and Moody will tell me that it actually means, "Excuse me, do you mind if I eat your elephant?", in which case, I would have to say, "Sure, send up the bomb."

Yeah, I got Japanese too. Must be my love of Giant, Radioactive Monsters is clouding my subconcious.

Alright, then...maybe you guys should take over my job and life here in Japan, and I'll take an extended vacation and enjoy those wonderful Nordic babes, clothing-optional beaches, and huddling for warmth when it gets cold in winter.

Alright...time to wake up and lay off the pizza...

Predictable, no?

You just want to get whipped by pine branches, Moody. Can't say I blame you...

Japanese. How apprapo. I didn't expect to be in Japan this long, so never made much effort. Now I'm playing catch-up.

Of course, that means I'll away in no time and in need of a different language.

Swedish might well be the language to learn -- I heard that Agnetha's available, LOL.
