Kount the Ku Klux Klowns

Let us see if we can decide on the number of pointy hat clowns.

Now wait just a minute here! You're not going to throw ALL the pointy hatted clowns in with the ones who are holding trombones are you?

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of friends who happen to be pointy hatted trumpet clowns, but I don't want them counted with the pointy hatted trombone clowns!

Beats me. I saw the clowns come out at the closing ceremonies at Torino (a much closer camera shot) and at first all I saw was a bunch of dudes in white suits and pointy hats wearing clown makeup. It took me a while to realize that

a) The white suits had little primary color designs

b) Not all the people were wearing pointy hats.

c) Oh, wait. These are circus-type clowns.

Nonetheless, the name Ku Klux Klowns popped into my head. Given that my blog muse is taking a nap right now, I decided to throw it on the page rather than be reminded of the impending Iraqi civil war every time I Snabulate.

Ronald's army grows stronger. He likes his clowns wearing white, so the spray of blood is more dramatic when the meat is processed. Mmmm MEAT!

You are not alone in that sentiment, Saba. Clowns don't scare me, but I've never liked them or understood why other people would. Perhaps most people don't like them or are scared by them. Why do people become clowns? To hide their identity for a while? I've known two clowns personally and I would say that they definately have some issues. Don't like 'em, don't think they're funny, and can understand why some people find them creepy.

Anyway, my favorite movie clown scene is in "Uncle Buck" where a clown shows up drunk for a birthday party and John Candy punches him out. Now that's funny!

Does anyone out there like them?

What happened to counting the pointy hats, y'all?

In whole or in part, about 75 clowns are in the pitcure, and one outside the picture.

Under the pale and ghastly light of a moon hanging low, bloated, and sullen like a baleful eye in a lifeless sky, the Spawn of Pennywise emerged from their hidden sanctuary to invade the shadows and unleash their unspeakable, brassy horror upon the denizens of the town as they lay, dreaming peacefully in their storybook cottages...

Saba, have you ever seen the movie "It" or the video to the DEVO song "Peek a Boo"?

He he he he he he he (diabolical giggle)
